Welcome to our website. Why “Science and New Age?” Penelope and I have been interested in science and intuition and combinations of the two for a long time. Penelope is mostly the “yin” (female, intuitive), and I am mostly the “yang” (male, rational), but as you may know the Chinese yin/yang symbol shows that there is a little bit of yin in the yang, and vice versa. I have joked (but it’s true) that if there’s a conflict between Penelope’s intuition and my logic, she’s right 90% of the time.
There are a lot of websites and books about paranormal and spiritual phenomena, but we are especially interested in what people are thinking about combinations of scientific and experiential approaches to these things. This seems to be the spirit of the times in fact, connecting scientific perspectives like quantum physics to a holistic view of the universe that includes spirituality.
We’d like to hear from you about your own experiences with things like ESP, spirit mediumship, ghosts, and spiritual development or practices. Also, how would you account for them scientifically or otherwise?
We have written several books and articles on these subjects and have made some documentary DVDs, as you can see from this website. We are also interested in writings and documentaries by other people. Maybe you would also like to review some of these in this blog. We hope you will “find the good and praise it,” on the grounds that we might as well focus more on what we like in the limited time and space we have available.
